Although their degradation in sanitary landfills is very slow, they do not release any substances harmful to the environment during this process.\u00a0 VITOPEL<\/strong>\u00a0are produced for various industries, including the food packaging industry. They comply with current legal regulations in user countries, such as the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and Mercosur resolutions, allowing their use in contact with all types of food.\n\nFor metallized films, direct contact between food and the metallized surface should be avoided. Excessive friction on this surface may lead to detachment of the deposited metal.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Vitopel Argentina films are not water-soluble and, due to their low density, float on water. Although their degradation in sanitary landfills is very slow, they do not release any substances harmful to the environment during this process. VITOPEL<\/strong>\u00a0are combustible, and burn when exposed to flames, producing smoke that is harmful to health and should not be inhaled. The films involved in a fire keep the flame burning, even if the ignition source is removed, as long as there is sufficient oxygen in the environment. NOTE: The spontaneous ignition temperature of the film is more than 280\u00b0 C. Fires involving films can be put out with a common fire extinguisher, (the use of a triclass powder extinguisher \u2013 type ABC \u2013 or water being recommended), but there may be restrictions due to the presence of other materials. It is recommended to use the films only for the purpose for which they were manufactured. For example, they should not be used as decoration in places where there is a risk of fire.<\/p>

In the event of a fire, the films will sustain combustion even after the ignition source is removed, provided that adequate oxygen is present in the atmosphere.\nNote: The autoignition temperature of the film exceeds 280\u00b0C.<\/p>

Fires involving films can be controlled using a conventional fire extinguisher, preferably a tri-class (ABC) dry powder or water-based extinguisher. Nonetheless, limitations may arise depending on the presence of other materials.<\/p>

Para el almacenamiento de los films de VITOPEL<\/strong>, se recomienda una rotaci\u00f3n adecuada del stock, y que su almacenamiento sea a temperaturas entre 18\u00b0 C y 28 \u00b0C.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s, recomendamos que los films no permanezcan expuestos directamente al sol y\/o lluvia, y mantenga el embalaje original durante su almacenamiento para proteger al producto del polvo y de contaminantes f\u00edsicos, qu\u00edmicos y biol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>

Stacking of pallets is not recommended. However, studies have shown that stacking up to two (2) pallets or a maximum height of three (3) meters is possible without causing damage to the product.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Unprinted films are not classified as special waste and can therefore be recycled multiple times through extrusion, or incinerated to obtain thermal or electrical energy.\nSpecial care must be taken when handling metallized film waste, as the metallic layer may conduct electricity.<\/p>

The packaging of the reels consists of wood (pallets and side panels) and\/or returnable plastic (pallets and side panels). The latter are the property of VITOPEL ARGENTINA<\/strong>and must be prepared for recovery and reuse.<\/p>

The remaining packaging materials, if reuse is not possible, may be disposed of or recycled together with similar materials.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Para evitar deformaciones de los films\u00a0 de\u00a0VITOPEL <\/strong>es recomendable el uso de moderadas temperaturas de sellado (por debajo de los 145\u00b0 C) junto con un corto tiempo de permanencia en mordaza, principalmente en equipos de envasado de baja velocidad.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
